No added sugar means you can choose your own level of sweetness using low calorie sweetener if desired. Use milk or any milk substitutes to make a creamy custard.
Use - To make 1 pint of custard, put 2 tablespoons of custard powder in a basin and add sugar to taste. Mix to a smooth paste, with 2 tablespoons of milk taken from 1 pint (568ml). Heat the remaining milk to nearly boiling and pour onto the custard mix, stirring well. Return to the saucepan and bring to the boil over a gentle heat, stirring continuously.
