Description

Mix to water ratio - 100g cake mix : 40ml water

Amounts per cake: 15cm (6 inch) round 350g of cake batter

                               20cm (8 inch) round 500g of cake batter

Weigh the required amount of cake mix to a bowl fitted with a beater. Add half the water over 2 minutes on slow speed, scrape down the bowl and mix for 3 minutes on medium speed. Scrape the bowl down again. Add the remaining water over 2 minutes on slow speed, scrape down the bowl and mix for a further 3 minutes on medium speed. Bake as normal sponge 150 deg. C
